Moshe Rabeinu was the greatest Jew of all time and he isn’t included in the Shira of this week’s Parsha; and the Sfas Emes asks why.
There’s a secret: the holy Rebbe of Peshischa taught – משפיל גאים ומגביה שפלים – it’s only through משפיל גאים – when you’re all the way up there spiritually and you go through a Yerideh, then Hashem can be מגביה שפלים and take you to a new place.
Moshe Rabeinu never sinned, he was the holiest Jew, and so he wasn’t able to go through that process to reach a new level of Shira.
